Imagine a dancer with Italian, Chinese and Spanish heritage all rolled into one to keep you guessing where those dance moves will take you.
Minx will have you dancing hip hop in no time – “pop, lock and dropping it” to the beat of the music. She will draw you in with her contagious energy, giving you the confidence to relax your body and providing it with the freedom it needs to follow her dance moves. Minx will have you floating, gliding and sliding to her creative choreography which incorporates unique body isolations and her own version of funky grooves.
Guys and gals will relate to her gender-neutral dance moves and her relaxed style of dress that gives a funky slant to bandanas, fitted caps, baseball jerseys and fresh kicks. Known for her artistry in makeup, Minx uses blue lipstick to accentuate her unique style and black and blue colour scheme. If Minx is your troupe member of choice, matching costumes will be provided so your fashion sense aligns with her and you will feel the hip hop attitude come to life.
Having experienced a lifetime of bullying for being different, Minx is a firm believer in learning to love and embrace your individuality and express it freely. As you get to know her, you will discover that she never fails to express her true self through her unique sense of fashion, makeup and dance.
And if that is not enough, Minx is just as much at home with Dancehall, Salsa, Soul, Bachata, Brazilian Samba and Kpop dance moves having personally performed on an international level, as well as leading several teams nationally to represent the Melbourne dance scene and has also been recognized in So You Think You Can Dance Australia’s Top 100!
Minx has hip hop in her blood and she certainly knows how to get that energy pulsating in your veins too once the music starts.
